Guangdong Nanling Cadre College is situated at the southern foot of Furong Mountain in Shaoguan, Guangdong Province, covering an area of 482 mu. Boasting an elegant environment with lush greenery, flourishing lotus leaves and rippling blue waters, its scattered buildings of varied heights are nestled among the landscape, forming a veritable "fairyland on earth" amid the city.

For this project, Joinmax adopts an IoT + 4G + cloud platform system. Multiple playlists for static and dynamic lighting effects are stored on the cloud platform, realizing IoT-based management of lighting output and equipment control nodes. Integrated or zonal linkage is achieved for scattered and independent artistic architectural courtyards. Leveraging the cloud platform’s computing, analysis and storage capabilities, distributed monitoring and management of power load across the entire area are implemented, with timely alerts sent to maintenance teams for abnormal power-consuming lighting nodes, thus realizing intelligent management.

In integrating light with architecture, lighting designers have made full use of the low-lying terrain in the central part of the college to build a lake, which connects to the water system of the valley gully in the southeast. Water features are created in line with the mountains at the college’s core, forming its central ecological landscape. This landscape is organically linked with the neighboring Lishi Lake Park, Shibei Lake Park and back mountain trails, creating a vivid charm of "mountains embracing waters" and the elegant beauty of "water and sky merging in one hue".
