On the afternoon of March 31, 2026, the Second Enlarged Meeting for Compiling the Guangdong Provincial Group Standard Technical Specification for LED Outdoor Landscape Lighting Control System was successfully held and concluded at the headquarters of Joinmax Technology. The meeting was co-hosted by the Guangdong Provincial Light Environment Industry Technology Innovation Alliance and the Guangdong Provincial Lighting Society, and co-organized by Joinmax and other institutions.

The meeting was attended by distinguished guests including Chen Haibo, Secretary-General of the Guangdong Provincial Lighting Society; Chen Yumei, Secretary-General of the Light Environment Alliance; Chen Jiansheng, General Manager of Zhongda Joinmax; Huang Jing, Deputy General Manager; Chen Dengwei, Chief Engineer; Zhang Yujie, Professor from Shaanxi University of Science & Technology (Yumingxin); Feng Jianxiang, Technical Director of Siyu Technology; Zhou Ning, Deputy General Manager of the Product Department of the Marketing Center of Pak; Zheng Xubiao, Manager of Foshan Lighting; Liang Wengen, Senior Solution Manager of Tridonic Lighting; Li Jianlong, Manager of Grand Canyon Lighting; Guo Xi, Manager of Lvbao Lighting; Lin Yanling, Manager of Yuxian Optoelectronics, with representative Ma Runcheng; Chen Huiqiao of Huaxun Zhiyun; Mo Wenzhao of Guike Engineering, as well as representatives of relevant enterprises in the industry.

Chaired by Chen Yumei, Secretary-General of the Light Environment Alliance, the meeting began with a warm welcome to all attendees. She elaborated on the core objectives and agenda of the meeting, focusing on industry issues in outdoor landscape lighting such as light pollution, high energy consumption, and poor compatibility of control systems.

Jiangmen Siyu Technology Co., Ltd. took the lead in initiating the formulation of the group standard Technical Specification for LED Outdoor Landscape Lighting Control System in April 2025, and the project was successfully approved in the same year. Subsequently, Zhuosheng Lighting, Zhongda Joinmax, Yumingxin, Yuxian Optoelectronics and other enterprises successively joined the standard drafting group. In September 2025, the first working meeting of the standard was held at the Guangdong Provincial Institute of Quality Inspection, where experts conducted in-depth discussions on the first draft of the standard and put forward many constructive suggestions.

This meeting marked another important step in advancing the standard development, and the opinions formed will be integrated into the subsequent compilation work. Secretary-General Chen extended sincere gratitude to all participating units and looked forward to joint efforts to steadily promote the process of standardization.

Following that, Chen Haibo, Secretary-General of the Guangdong Provincial Lighting Society, delivered a speech, welcoming the guests and wishing the meeting a complete success.

On behalf of the company, Mr. Chen Jiansheng, General Manager of Joinmax, delivered a welcome speech, expressing Joinmax Technology’s consistent firm support for promoting industry standardization. As the co-organizer and venue provider, Joinmax Technology not only offered a platform for communication but also committed to contributing practical insights from frontline projects.

Three senior industry experts delivered professional presentations in sequence: Feng Jianxiang, Technical Director of Siyu Technology; Zhang Yujie, Professor from Shaanxi University of Science & Technology (Yumingxin Technology); and Chen Dengwei, Chief Engineer of Zhongda Joinmax. Their sharing covered technical R&D, project application, and industrial trends, providing rich practical references and technical ideas for the standard compilation.

Director Feng delivered a presentation titled Intelligent Control Light, Cloud-Enabled Future. He pointed out that the industry must transform from simple "hardware integration" to "operation services", and introduced the application scenarios and innovations of the Siyu Cloud Platform in empowering smart cities. To address the lack of industry standards, Siyu, as the leading unit, initiated and approved the Technical Specification for LED Outdoor Landscape Lighting Control System, aiming to break technical barriers, regulate market order, raise technical thresholds and overall industry levels, promote technological innovation and sustainable development, and provide clear design bases and acceptance standards for design institutions and owners. In closing, Feng expressed Siyu’s hope to work with partners to create a new era of smart lighting.

Professor Zhang’s report started from the background of industrial development, focusing on technological changes brought by the upgrading of 4G and 5G industries. He elaborated on the evolutionary path from intelligent lighting to smart lighting empowered by AI, driving the leapfrog development of China’s lighting industry. Based on the "cloud-edge-device" architecture and IoT construction, the report established AI distribution models for personnel and ambient illuminance, combined with big data modeling and analysis to realize real-time fault prediction and early warning in large-scale landscape lighting scenarios, as well as lighting simulation for large building facades. It also showcased an integrated platform featuring "cloud configuration, cloud generation, cloud digital twin, and cloud management and control", providing systematic academic support for the reliability and operation and maintenance efficiency of smart lighting systems.

Based on engineering project cases, Chief Engineer Chen Dengwei shared valuable experience in the integration and engineering application of landscape lighting control systems from the upgrading project of the curtain wall lighting effect of the Chow Tai Fook Finance Centre (Guangzhou East Tower).

He identified core industry challenges including systemic compatibility issues, inconsistent communication protocols, difficult operation and maintenance, and data security risks. He emphasized that the standard provides crucial guidance for front-end design, effectively reducing construction cycle risks, regulating industry order, improving technical levels and standardizing technical requirements in later operation and maintenance, and lowering system integration costs. Unifying standard interfaces and protocols will further reduce system integration difficulties and boost the development of digital smart cities. Zhongda Joinmax will work together with industry peers to promote standardization and high-quality development of the industry.

After the presentations, Secretary-General Chen Yumei, Secretary-General Chen Haibo, and General Manager Chen Jiansheng presented certificates of appreciation to the guest speakers. Sincere gratitude was extended to the three experts for their insightful sharing and valuable insights.

During the panel discussion, guests held heated discussions on key technical indicators for compiling the group standard Technical Specification for LED Outdoor Landscape Lighting Control System. Participants expressed their views on the standard’s applicable scenarios, main technical parameters, and terminology definitions, putting forward a series of constructive suggestions with active exchanges and brainstorming.

Subsequently, under the guidance of Chen Jiansheng, General Manager of Guangzhou Zhongda Joinmax Technology Co., Ltd., the attendees visited the company headquarters, gaining an in-depth understanding of its technological R&D and product layout in the field of LED outdoor landscape lighting control systems. This built an intuitive platform for technical exchanges and resource connection among enterprises.

At the end of the discussion session, all participants took a group photo to commemorate this important moment of industry exchange.

Following the visit, the meeting drew to a close. The successful convening of this enlarged compilation meeting not only collected a large number of industry-practical opinions and suggestions for standard compilation, further improving the technical ideas and framework of the standard, but also established a high-quality platform for industry technical exchanges and resource integration. It effectively pooled the joint efforts of the entire industrial chain to promote the standardized development of the industry.
